If you'd told me a couple of weeks ago that I'd be a fan of polystyrene stuff I'd probably have laughed at you.

Seriously.

The nice people over in MadeinHollywood, however, have made me "see the light".

They did up a really nice set of horse's heads for us:

(see the comments and more here)

So now I'm a big fan.

If you want to see what kind of stuff they've done for other people, then head over to their site and peruse their portfolio.

I'd have never thought that polystyrene could be cool, but it is!

Being able to upload an image from your computer and add notes to it can save a lot of time and hassle.

Images are easier to understand than words!

Finetuna is a pretty cool service which allow you to do just that.

You can grab an image off your hard drive. Upload it and add comments and notes. Once you're ready you can pass the link to it to someone else and they can continue the work and so and so on.

It's a really nice idea and best of all it's free!

And did I mention it was Irish?

I guess I should have done.

Finetuna is from the guys in SpoiltChild (they've done a lot of work for me over the years, so I may be a wee bit biased)

Circus Vegas

Circus VegasWhen I was a lot younger my mother took me to the circus, as did my grandmother. That was a long time ago, but I still have fond memories of the magic that was the "big top".

CircusVegas.ie is the official site of an Irish touring circus and is bright and colourful and very, well, "circus like".

They've even got a blog, which I thought was pretty cool.

TwitterFone

While I may not like the user interface of Twitter you have to admit that it has spawned some very interesting services.

One of the Irish services to hit the market is TwitterFone, which allows users to interact with Twitter over the phone (hence the name!)

The design is nice and bright and almost playful. Designed by Sabrina Dent.

While I know that I am most definitely NOT in their target demographic, you'd have to be rather foolish to dismiss beaut.ie.

Beaut.ie makes a lovely play on words in the domain name, which caught my eye immediately, while the site's layout and design is very much aimed at their visitors.

What kind of stuff are you likely to find here?

It seems to cover all aspects of the fashion, beauty and style and is mainly focussed on women.
